"Do you recognize the song title? One time you called me last year after you had this experience where some crazy-power-trippin'-woman decided she was your boss, when she wasn't, and you decided to speak to me, of all people, about how it made you feel, and about how best to handle it.

It made me feel like
a) you respect my thoughts and opinions
b) you take your position as a social worker seriously

And that was awesome.

Your song has this lovely little pattern in a 9/8 format, where two chords are presented, but they aren't given equal time. The first chord is given slightly more time (5 of the 9 beats), and then the second chord, which is dissonant in relation to the first and accented LOUDER than the first, is given less time (4 of 9 beats). To me, I think this represents the value of your voice -- less often heard, but strong when spoken."
