"Regarding song title: you said those words to me when I and my family were super-sick in the winter months. I was like 'you don't have to do that, you live forever away.' But you were still willing to, yet I managed to talk you down to 'just' getting me some groceries.

Your willingness to give, to go the extra mile, is what inspired me to write a song that pushed myself to the limit of what I could perform musically. I also pushed my creativity, using an irregular time signature (5/4) and trying a variety of advanced compositional styles.

Basically, I wanted to give the best I could offer, because that's what you offered to me."
